QCode

Work with coding agents inside a local, project-aware interface shaped by Codex, Cursor, and VS Code patterns.

Alpha build for macOS Apple Silicon. The current build is unsigned.

Workflow

Built around real project loops.

01

Open a project

Keep conversations, project context, file exploration, and diagnostics tied to the local workspace.

02

Ask for a change

Use project-aware prompts, slash commands, and local state to move from analysis to implementation.

03

Verify and ship

Review problems, runtime checks, command output, and Git changes without leaving the workbench.

Features

A focused shell for agentic development.

QCode keeps the interface quiet: project navigation, chat, files, diagnostics, and model settings stay close to the work.

Project-first conversations

Organize chats by project, pin important work, archive old threads, and remove projects without deleting local files.

Workbench panels

Use a VS Code style shell with a sidebar, file panel, command palette, bottom panel, and compact status bar.

Local diagnostics

Surface runtime state, workspace signals, package manager hints, and project setup issues where decisions happen.

Download

Try QCode on macOS.

This public alpha is intended for early testing. Future builds should use signing, notarization, and a stable update channel.
